Established in September 2003, the Hungchi International Reproductive Medicine Center has continued to develop our expertise in reproductive medicines and infertility. Since our founding, we have consistently been rated by the Health Promotion Administration, Ministry of Health and Welfare (MOHW) as an Excellent and Qualified medical institute for assisted reproductive technologies during the triennial evaluations.
In September 2016, Hungchi invested nearly NT$ 40 million to build a comfortable and cozy environment for patients and acquire flexible hysteroscopes. In February 2019, Hungchi acquired a time-lapse system for embryo culture and monitoring, using the most advanced medical equipment and technology to save our patients trips to the hospital by completing all tests during one visit and helping our patients with pregnancy and childbirth.
In 2021, Hungchi started using Non-Invasive Preimplantation Genetic Testing (PGT) and advanced embryo culture agents/ technology to select healthy embryonic cells that can increase IVF success rates and geriatric pregnancy rates. In November 2021, Hungchi acquired a second time-lapse system for embryo culture and monitoring to capture embryonic growth in real-time and provide imaging to help doctors select the best embryo.
At Hungchi, we also use Endometrial Receptivity Analysis (ERA) to identify the optimal window of implantation (WOI) and transfer high-quality embryos while increasing the hopes of couples suffering from fertile problems and hopefully ensuring a successful pregnancy.
