Opened in 2008, Taipei Medical University Shuang Ho Hospital offers outpatient, inpatient, and emergency services that include 36 different specialties. The 1,500-bed hospital received JCI accreditation in 2009 and was reaccredited in 2012 and 2015.

Shuang Ho is equipped with state-of-the-art equipment for diagnosis and treatment including PET-CT, 3T-MRI, Gamma Knife, and tomotherapy. The hospital has 10 specialty centers—its Aesthetic Laser Center, Cancer Center, Dialysis Center, Health Management Center, Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy Center, PET-CT Center, Radiation Therapy Center, Sleep Center, Stroke Center, and Disabled Patient Oral Health Center.

The Cancer Center integrates 13 function groups and 11 medical teams. The center integrates clinicians of different specialties, which include nutritionists, pharmacists, social workers, religious practitioners, and community resources to provide comprehensive care. The Radiation Therapy Center offers Image-Guided Volumetric Modulated Arc Therapy, Tomotherapy, Gamma Knife, and Brachytherapy.

With the only medical heliport permitted in New Taipei City, Shuang Ho offers emergency medical air transportation for patients living in remote areas, islands, or other countries, including Mainland China. Hospital services for international patients include appointment scheduling, document coordination, language translation, daily inpatient support, transportation, as well as support before, during, and after hospitalization.
