Clinical Holistic Nursing Model and Clinical Practice –Maternal-Newborn Care

The Department of Nursing is committed to a “Patient First”, and “Team Share” values, for delivering quality healthcare in the safest environment possible. Our Nursing Department is staffed with a total of 1,004 nurses, through Primary Nursing Systems, offers a broad range of nursing services. In compliance with the processes of assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation and evaluation, provides patients with individual, holistic and continuous nursing care.

The training program will be arranged to maternal and newborn care units. Learning from pregnancy stage, including normal delivery to emergency delivery and critical condition, especially rehabilitation for prematurity and neurodevelopmental disorders in high risk newborn.

Departmental arrangements include:Clinic department, Delivery Room, Nursery, Postnatal ward, Emergency Room, Surgical intensive care unit, Neonatal intensive care unit and rehabilitation center.

Achievements

We have trained more than 300 nursing staff and students from all over the world. We hope this program will improve your understanding and provide opportunities for personal exchange of nursing care in Taiwan.
