The Da Vinci Surgical team at Tungs’ Taichung MetroHarbor Hospital has more than 15 years of experience. Under the leadership of Dr. Yen Chuan Ou, the world renowned surgeon in the Robotic Surgical field, the team continues to advance in the minimally invasive surgical field.

The team has operated over 2,000 cases up to date, through the newest Da Vinci surgical system as well as Trusystem surgical bed; patient is able to receive the best care while minimizing surgical risks.

Tungs’ Hospital hosted the first ERUS meeting focusing on Da Vinci robotic surgery in Asia, inviting experts in the field from over 9 countries in Asia, USA and Europe. The international conference enabled academic and practical experience sharing, and is a milestone for Tungs’ Hospital in its goal to becoming an international medical center.  

Thus far, we’ve provided Da Vinci robotic surgery to surgeons from China and the Philippines.
