In Taiwan, a total of 39,195 technicians for caring service are needed to cover the requirement of caring service. Excluding the 26,214 technicians who have already received the technician training, there is a lack of 12,981 technicians for joining the field of caring service.

Camillians Saint Mary’s Hospital Luodong constructed a training program of the technician for caring service in 2013 and built a team of 21 faculties with an average clinical experience of 18 years.

In response to the national long-term care integration plan, the government and our hospital make every effort to improve the quality of care services, promote the mutual circulation of the job market for home attendants and care workers, enhance employment opportunities, implement national policies and promote the development of the care industry.

To date, the training program has already trained 197 domestic technicians for caring service with a pass rate of 99%. Besides, seven Philippine overseas medical staffs came to our hospital to learn the service and skills and brought these valuable experiences back to Philippine in 2018.
