Cueifong Lake is between Taiping Mountain and Dayuan Mountain and its indicated altitude is 1，900 meters. The square measure is 20 hectares. It is one of the largest highland lakes in Taiwan. It is also the most essential scenery spot in Taiping Mt. National Forest Recreation Area. The hiking route between Taiping Mountain and Cueifong Lake takes about 6 hours. The landscape along the route is beautiful. Tall trees stand on both sides and bird chirping is heard everywhere. The sound of the distant flowing rivers keeps breaking the tranquility. It is a retreat away from the turmoil in the world.
