Jioujhihze Hot Spring is the central spot in Taiping Mr. National Forest Recreation Area， located in the valley surrounded by Duowang River. Its original name was Renze. Because of its resources such as terrestrial heat and hot spring， it was also named ''Shao Shui'' in the past. It was renamed Jioujhihze Hot Spring in 2004. The surrounding mountains are verdant and beautiful. The curving course of Duowang River goes through this area. Jioujhihze Hot Spring is weak alkaline carbonic acid spring. The heat reaches 140℃. The water is clean without sulfur smell so it is suitable for bathing. Visitors can enjoy the nearby forest trail and appreciate birds there. Luodong Forest District Office sets up Renze Vilalge providing accommodations. The facilities include Jiouze Bridge crossing Duowang River， beautiful plants surrounding the egg boiling section， outdoor SPA hot spring pool， and indoor hot spring juniper tub bathroom.
