Taiwan’s Happy Living Tourist Sock Factory is going to rebuild as “Sock tourist factory” that introduces types of socks and their production process. According to the business representative, many people only know Shetou as the hometown of the socks. They are hoping the tourist factory can further enhance Shetou’s sock brand image. The first floor used to be the display room and the second and third floor are a factory that produces socks. After being rebuilt as a tourist factory, today an opening ceremony began that allowed free access to the public. People can see various types of socks and related products. On the wall is the introduction of Shetou Township’s sock kitting industry development and history. The second floor places machines that produce socks and meanwhile simulates the way Shetoiu families work on the production of socks at home so that people are fully aware of the producing process of socks.
