The 3D simulation and localization program, established on August 2014, is collaborated by thoracic surgeons and radiologists. By pre-operative three-dimensional localization and simulation, the thoracic surgeons made precise resection possible with adequate surgical margin, preserved pulmonary function and better post-operative quality of life.
We published series of peer-reviewed journal related to surgical outcome of lung cancer, pre-operative simulation for segmentectomy and tumor localization. We are also the first-and-only medical center in Taiwan who applied 3D printing technology in the Nuss procedure.
We received trainee oversea in every year from clerkship exchange to short-term fellowship training program.
