International Dermatopathology Training Program

The program is the first International Committee for Dermatopathology (ICDP)-accredited dermatopathology training center in Asia. The program director, Dr. Yu-Hung Wu, is the founder and current president of Asian Society of Dermatopathology.

Achievements

The program provides a comprehensive clinical-pathological training in the skin diseases and more than 5,000 teaching slides in a well-organized system for self-learning. The training includes H&E slide, chemical stain, immunohistochemical stain, immunofluorescence, electron microscopy, and molecular diagnosis in skin pathology.

There are 32 SCI peer-reviewed journal articles published in recent 5 years (2014 to 2018), including 14 original articles and 18 case reports.

We have trained 16 international scholars from Philippines (4), Vietnam (3), India (3), Malaysia (2), Myanmar (1), Nepal (1), Sudan (1), and Guatemala (1) since 2012.

Course: NTD 10,000/month

  1. Diagnose skin disease pathologically

Learning Skills

  1. Approach skin pathology slides
  2. Interpret chemical and immunochemical stains
  3. Capable to read or evaluate immunofluorescence, electron microscope, and molecular diagnosis
