The Medical Quality Review Committee was established in April 1997 and the Patient Safety Committee was established in December 2002. In 2001, the Quality Control Center was established to combine standardization and quality promotion. In 2003, the Patient Information Safety Center was established to promote the infrastructure and applications of patient safety information. In order to make the medical quality and patient safety business more systematic, the Department of Quality Management was formally established in April 2008, and the certification team, quality assurance team and patient safety team were set up to build a patient-centered safety culture.
