Pakuashan is located in a region with steep slopes; the forest is the main habitat for plant and animal life. There are as many as 76 species of birds in the area， many of which are listed as endangered species. Most unique of all is the migration of Grey-faced Buzzard between the Spring time of March and April each year. In the Spring， flocks of flying eagles can be observed from the stone steps， truly a wonder of nature. Sung Po Ling Visitor Information Center offers the most comprehensive travel services. In addition， there is the Erhshui temple footpath， explanation of the tea making process at the Sung Po Ling tea factory， tour guide information reading and viewing， as well as viewing of multimedia video and ecological video.
