‘’I initially thought that after successfully having my first child, conceiving a second one would be easy. However, after three years, I faced a two-year struggle with infertility. Growing up in a large family, I deeply desired to give my children a sense of belonging and support, which motivated me to pursue having another child.’’ Mrs. Chen said.
During her first visit to Dr. Chang, an ultrasound revealed that she had "chocolate cysts" on both ovaries, and was also diagnosed with adenomyosis, which explained her difficulties in conceiving. The most challenging part of this journey was managing the ongoing medication and the associated discomfort.
‘’Despite my optimistic outlook and adherence to Dr. Chang advice, I sometimes felt self-doubt due to comments from family members, which can be quite damaging for those undergoing fertility treatments. Support from loved ones is crucial during this process.’’ Mrs. Chen recalled.
Eventually, she was fortunate enough to successfully conceive at TFC on her first attempt.
