Holding a newborn is one of the most touching moments for families who have gone through the pregnancy journey.
This 31-year-old mother from Vietnam and her husband had been married for two years, eagerly hoping for their little one. Through the years they had tried for artificial insemination (IUI) without success.
Despite the challenges, they did not give up hope. They visiting NUWA Fertility Center Taichung Branch for a fertility check when Dr. Cheng Hsuan Wu discovered her husband had an oligospermia condition.
Choosing IVF, where ICSI (Intracytoplasmic Sperm Injection) played a crucial role in embryo fertilization.
During the IVF process, 20 eggs were retrieved, and 5 embryos were successfully developed via ICSI!
Miraculously, it was a success just in one-time for embryo transfer!
With excellent embryo quality and optimal uterine conditions, Dr. Wu decided to transfer a single blastocyst.
The following weeks were a mix of anxious tension and fervent hope.
Finally, the pregnancy test results showed a successful pregnancy, and the couple finally welcomed a healthy and adorable baby! A truly heartwarming moment.
