【Tungs' Hospital】 Crew Member Krzysztof's Maritime Heart Attack: A Miraculous Surgery Journey at Tungs’ Hospital

  Last Update:2023-11-23

At sea, Polish sailor Mr. Krzysztof suddenly felt a dull pain in his chest, as if crushed by a large stone.

This pain quickly spread, like a giant wave surging from his chest to his neck and arm, making it difficult for him to endure, accompanied
by difficulty breathing, dizziness, and vomiting.

Through the activation of the emergency medical system, Krzysztof was rushed to Tungs' Hospital, where a careful examination by the
medical team quickly confirmed that Mr. Krzysztof was suffering from acute myocardial infarction, a condition where blood flow to the
heart muscle is interrupted, causing myocardial damage. It requires immediate vascular intervention within the golden time.
The hospital immediately mobilized the team from the Coronary Heart Disease Center and arranged for a cardiac catheterization procedure.

Inside the operating room, with the concerted efforts of advanced medical equipment and professional medical staff, Krzysztof's life was
successfully saved. His heart regained normal blood flow, removing the threat of myocardial infarction. Later, with the attentive care of
the medical team and assistance from the international medical center, Mr. Krzysztof safely returned to his long-missed hometown,
looking forward to returning to the sea.

Understand myocardial infarction together:
-Myocardial infarction is a severe heart disease with symptoms such as chest pain, neck pain, left arm pain, back discomfort, vomiting,
dizziness, etc. Anyone experiencing these symptoms should seek medical help immediately.
-Preventive measures for myocardial infarction include a healthy lifestyle, such as quitting smoking, maintaining a normal weight, regular
exercise, controlling hypertension and high cholesterol, and maintaining a balanced diet.
