The Chenglong Wetland in Kouhu Township has been designated a national costal protected area. The area was originally an abandoned farm; recently, however, it was transformed into a biologically rich wetland, a home for diverse species, such as fish, crabs, and migratory birds, including the Black-faced Spoonbill, Sterna Albifrons, and Eurasian Kestrel.
