The shoreline here is shallow and sandy. To the north is an oyster farming area and to the sThe wetlands to the south of the Yanshueigang Estuary offer exceptional bird watching throughout the year. A total of 41 species of birds (in 21 families) have been recorded here， most of them waterfowl such as geese and ducks. The City Government has designated this area a wildlife preserve. For bird enthusiasts， it is not to be missed.
