To the west of the Qingshui Ancestral Temple is Sanjiaoyong Old Street. The buildings of the market street were built during the Japanese occupation and it is the No. one old street in norther Taiwan rebuilt for added value， and nowadays， the whole lineup are interesting shops is geared to allow people to have a relaxing stroll and a meal. Shoppers can ﬁnd anything from children's toys， folk art， snack stands and traditional mom-and-pop shops. The buildings have Baroque-style plaques and Chinese gateways and within the buildings are visible signs of bygone days.
