The barrel-shaped building with a Hakka-style portico immediately catches the eye of visitors. Inside are separate exhibition areas each with a differnt theme， such as migratory patters， linguistics， arts and crafts， industry， architecture and faith. One exhibit after another gives the opportunity to recognize and appreciat Hakka lifestyle. The museum has an AV area， a training classroom， a story-telling room， and a showmanship auditorium.
