• Far Eastern Memorial Hospital (FEMH) is located at Banqiao District, New Taipei City. Establishing in 1981, FEMH is the first medical center in New Taipei City, also an important teaching hospital in the country. We have approximately 1,500 beds, with over 6,500 outpatient visits per day, and nearly 400 visits at the emergency room – which is the fourth busiest in Taiwan.
• FEMH introduced advanced medical equipment, such as the Da Vinci surgical system, digital breast tomosynthesis, hyperbaric oxygen chambers, and fully automated laboratory equipment for clinical pathology.
• FEMH developed core competencies in the 3C-2T-1M-1N framework:
3C: Cardiovascular Medicine, Critical Care, Cancer Care
2T: Traumatology, Transplantation
1M: Minimally Invasive Surgery
1N: Nephrology
• FEMH leads cardiovascular critical care, minimally invasive endoscopic surgery, small intestine transplantation techniques both domestically and internationally. Additionally, innovative medical technologies in various specialties excelling in diabetes care, infection control, suicide prevention, vulnerable care and health promotion, awarding numerously.
• In response to precision medicine, artificial intelligence, and biotechnology development, FEMH integrated equipment and technologies to enhance diagnostic and treatment outcomes. We also offer borderless telemedicine consultation services, ensuring dedication to your health and well-being from our medical team and experts.
