In the vicinity of where the Sihjilan River of Shuehshan meets with the Cijiawan River of Tsungtaoshan， clans of the Atayal tribe are situated in the surrounding mountains from Lishan to Wuling Farm. It is rare to find any tribe in a valley with the tribes scattered among the mountains rising more than 3000 meters high. Looking down from the highway， travelers can admire the landscape created by the Atayal and appreciate their way of life while visiting the Huanshan Atayal Mountain Land Cultural Center and an Historical Antique Center which not only preserves the fading Taiya culture， but also offers instruction in the Taiya weaving craft to pass on to others. With a collection of early aboriginal artifacts， decorations， old rooms， hen houses， granaries， etc.， the Historical Antique Center is a great place to learn Atayal weaving skills and view a display of its articles so as to allow the younger generations of Atayal females support their original art.
