Bay U - The Pirate Bay

The forerunner of Bay U - the Pirate Bay was the old sentry post of the Budai Offshore Flotilla adjoining sea wall, bordering on a park in the east and north and the land used for Budai Offshore Flotilla and Coast Guard Administration in the south. It’s a pivot for the military to control Budai Port entry and exit in early years.The name of “Bay U” means a romantic and happy bay created specifically for you only. In 2016, the program of the Southwest Coast National Scenic Area focuses on Budai area featuring its reconstruction of combining Xinwen Office, Diamond Church and the Southern Japanese Salt Corporation of Budai Township in a point, line and plane connection to become a tourist destination at the coastal area of Chiayi.
