Phone:886-3-9545114 Address:Nan'ao Township, Yilan County, Taiwan (R.O.C.)
Maoxing Reminiscent Trail was built along the tracks of the final stop of bouncy car, with a total length of 1.5 km. In order to preserve the pristine environment, the damaged timber sleepers, curved tracks, wooden bridges hanging in the air, even the lost roadbed have been kept without fixing. Therefore, we can say that the most original railway system has been kept completely. On both sides of the trail and tracks, there are upright Cryptomeria trees. It is very romantic for couples to take a walk here. In addition, the trail is situated in a foggy forest at between 1800~2500 meters above sea level. With humid weather and wreathing mist, it is like being in the setting of the movie "The Lord of the Rings." The final station of the railway is under the shades of the forest. With trees growing through the roof, the platform looks like the mysterious platform in a fairy tale. Besides the tracks, there are ferns. Under the upright Chinese Cypress and Cryptomeria trees, there are all kinds of ferns. Some newly grown plants group upon the dead trees. Some trees have twisted roots and intricate gnarls. Some big tree holes are like homes of fairies. Walking along the trail, you will see some old railway tracks, which have their natural and historic values. In the middle of the trail, you will see a watchtower which is half as high as a normal tree, so when you stand on it, you can see farther, and observe the trees closely. When you stand on the watchtower, it feels like clouds are within reach. The senses paralyzed by hustle and bustle of big cities are woken up. The touchiness you gain from the nature makes you feel that in the wind, cloud, and fog, you have forgotten who you are. There are mainly Cryptomeria trees mixed with some Chinese Cypress here. The composition of the forest is simple. In addition to that, the ferns also play an important role. There are in total 79 kinds of ferns such as Plagiogyria Formosana and Linearis Clarke. Maoxing Re
