DongYuan Forest Recreation Area is a secluded valley surrounded by green forests. The trails inside the recreation area are like the tour guide of DongYuan which always can lead tourists to every spot that is worth staying. Actually, it is not related to any sad legends at all. It is a homonym from Paiwan’s native language which means water gathering. Crying Lake is a quiet and lovely lake.
