Located in Wai'an Village, Xiyu Township, Penghu County, the Yu-Won Island Lighthouse is at a high place of vast vision, so it is also called "Xiyu Lighthouse". The government listed it as a national historical site. Constructed in the reign of Qing Emperor Guangxu Dynasty, it is the earliest western-style lighthouse constructed in Taiwan and Penghu area. The Yu-Won Island Lighthouse is a western-style lighthouse reconstructed after Xiyu lighthouse was demolished.
