Lotus Base is located on the sea erosion terrain at southwest side of Tongpan Island， which is actually in a structure of volcano entrance. Because the surroundings were often eroded by sea water， hence， it was sunken， only center area has a small hill protruding overlooking from top or watch it afar， it is just like a giant， blossomed pretty lotus， so， it has another name， Lotus Base.
