Caipu'ao， on northeastern Xiju Island， is famous for the seaweed of its coastal Caipuyin Reef. When seaweed harvest season arrives， the reef's oversight committee holds an auction for the right to collect seaweed. Caipu'ao is a popular Juguang tourist destination， and is home to some of the area's best fishing thanks to the multitude of ocean currents that flow by.
