Situated upstream of Beigang River， this is an experimental forest of NCHU; in the park there are natural coniferous and broad leaved trees， there are also different appearances of temperate and tropical forests. High mountains， deep gorges， thriving forests and beautiful sceneries， this is the ideal place for soaking in the forest atmosphere and hiking. With a mountain altitude of 2，419m and gorges as deep as 500m (Beigang River Gorge)， the variety of trees is diverse. In addition， the park as been meticulously planned and established， suitable for ecological tours and recreation.
