Founded in 1968 by the late Cardinal Tien Ken-Sin, his eponymous hospital in Xindian seeks to provide Taiwanese citizens with high quality medical care. With 1,200 beds, Cardinal Tien Hospital has grown to become the largest Catholic health care network in North Taiwan. The hospital is also the teaching hospital for Fu-Jen Catholic University and Cardinal Tien College of Healthcare and Management.
