Boai Street has undergone a special metamorphosis to become an ar t street. The ent i re l ength of Yonghe Street and extends to Jinping Girls' Middle School Yonghe Branch. The school is built of buildings with orangishred c lay roof t i les whi te walls adorned with archedwindows of floral patterns. Its walls have over 20 large oil paintings by artist Yang Sanlang， whose works hang silently at the Yang Sanlang Museum. The whole street exudes peacefulness and it makes for acomfortable sensation.
