The Matsu Distillery, located just outside the entrance to Niujiao Village, uses sweet cold spring water, making the liquor it distills well-known far and wide, especially its Ta Chu, kaoliang (sorghum liquor) and premium aged liquors. The distillery has currently only opened an exhibit room and Tunnel 88 to visitors. In the exhibit room, commemorative wines produced during different historical eras, discontinued medicinal wines and other rarities are on display, and visitors can learn about the past and present of the Matsu Distillery through film presentations and the items on display.
