Heaven Lake and Da Kuan Pavillion

Elevation (altitude): 2595m Heaven Lake is located on the top of the Fushou Mt.， and its altitude is 2585 meters， overlooking the western peak of Snow Mountain. In the afternoon， the whole western peak of the Snow Mountain becomes covered in misty fog and the view becomes as beautiful as a wonderland.Heaven Lake is a famous site for watching the sunset. The site that is the most suitable for watching the sunset is in the direction of the camping ground. In addition to overlooking the pastoral scenery of the site， it is also the most wonderful site， where the clouds converge. The parking lot of the Heaven Lake is also a perfect location to watch the sunset and clouds because of its wide view.Da Kuan Pavillion is next to Heaven Lake， and it used to be a location for Chiang Kai-shek to meditate and discuss state affairs. Da Kuan Pavillion is a two-story building with the cross-shaped structure. On the first floor， there is the hallway， room for the guard to send messages， atrium， study room， and rest room for Chiang Kai-shek train his mind， and to meditate on state affairs. There are only some simple arrangements in the atrium， and the decorations is simple and bright. The study room has been refitted into a history center， and there are two beds and a seat in the rest room. There is a history introduction of the Da Kuan Pavillion and related pictures in the back of the hallway. The landscape balcony and council chamber on the second floor， and its four sides are surrounded by picture windows with a clean and mounted view.
