Inaugurated in 1953, the 1,939-meter long Xiluo Bridge, composed of 31 beautiful arches, was once the longest bridge in the Far East. Even though the old narrow-gauge railway used to transport sugar canes was removed in 1971, the bridge was still a vital transportation hub. Every year in late-September or early- October, the Xiluo Bridge Cultural Festival attracts tens and thousands of visitors to this beautiful historical relic.
