Chiayi Distillery can be said to be the hometown of sorghum liquor, of 1950, (c.1950) by the Chiayi factory production since the first bottle of sorghum liquor. The Wine Museum is part of Chiayi Distillery, originally under the Tobacco and Wine Monopoly Bureau, Tainan branch office, and only under the aegis of the Chiayi branch offices, and in August 1988, is a tourist winery, to be moved to a new factory of China Xiong , opened in September, 1997, visit the Wine Museum was established in the following year in November, covers an area of about square-meter. The museum displays over the years, the products and the wine in containers, on-site are also available to the tasting area, and free for guests to wine tasting. Visitors can visit the second floor side Wine Museum, viewing the culture of wine country, historical displays, the side of the collection is very rich, can be described as the tobacco companys early wine industry relics up to the winery. In addition the first floor of wine tasting, enjoy refreshing alcohol-related by-products such as wine popsicles, wine, eggs... and so on. Another winery can be customized for special occasions, required commemorative wine, the image specified by the customer, to create unique labels of wine.
