Lu Zai Cao Local Culture Museum is next to Lucao Township Office, the highest administrative agency in Lucao. The museum was established in March 2008 and it is not even 3 years old. Even though it is a young museum, the building itself is historical. It was Lucao Health Department built in 1978.In the past, people went to the department to get vaccines and children often cried aloud. Many Lucao locals still remember that scene. Many people came here and opened their mouths to allow the dentist examine and treat. Therefore, it is a place with the history of blood and tears. Many old men are emotionally connected to the building. Departments of health have been built in every township from 1950 to 1970 so that doctors, nurses and healthcare providers could work systematically. Many contagious diseases have been wiped out since then. The department of health offered public-like service and was the most important and trustable healthcare institution in many remote areas.
