Along Walter Chan Kar-old house before the elders Road, right turn into the first fork, and soon you will find another ancient building, is still relatively intact, environmental building more quaint and elegant old house ─ GONG ancienthouse. About a hundred years ago, Gong Jiazu first four brothers from the local library Village, Pingtung county Hong Kong moved to the village elders to settle. Historic courtyard dwellings, an area of three one-third, a total of 30 rooms, each room can be connected. The forecourt of the center is dedicated to the Bodhisattva's altar, the middle of the backyard is the ancestral hall of the GONG where the ancestral tablets. The GONG construction of beams and columns are from the Fujian fir, a hundred years so far can be strong, not bad. The wall thickness of 36 cm, full of stone and lime mix brick, completely useless cement. The door on the wall are carved the landscape, dragon and phoenix, unicorn, Crane ... mascot, experienced centuries storm still vivid. Walls carved on the window shape of the books above mentioned poems are different for every fan, writing today can be clearly visible. Around the hospital floor was paved with red brick, laying into the water chestnut shape, so as not to crack, full of the scientific nature of the building.
