Siraya is the first aboriginal tribe based on the written history of Taiwan, and the name of Siraya can be traced back to the Dutch-ruled era. Tainan City recognized Siraya people as locals, and hence established Siraya Cultural Museum aside from building the Siraya Aboriginal affairs Association to benefit its culture distribution and blending. The museum is located in Fanziliao (Yongjiu Village) at the borderline between Xinganshe (Now Xinshi District) and Damujiang (Now Xinhua District). The geographic feature of Siraya Cultural Museum not only represents its historical meaning, but also provides convenient traffic to connect all Siyara people who reside in different districts respectively. The museum is also next to junctions of highways and Xinshe Train station. Welcome everyone to pay a visit here anytime!
