The whole Sheding Park is a rising coral land. Therefore, coral valleys, speleothems and grassland are everywhere. In addition, kinds of edible herbs, nectar plants and bushes grow abundantly in the park. In order to maintain the nature, there’s only a simple trail and some small commentary boards inside the park. Sheding Park is a spot with primal scenery.There are almost 300 kinds of plants in Sheding Park’s forest. Among them, in every summer and spring, nectar plants secrete a great quantity of nectars that attracts kinds of butterflies. Therefore, you can see butterflies flying around in the forest. According to statistics, there are almost 50 kinds of butterflies. Even cicadas and frogs sing in harmony for praising the colorful scene.In winter, northeast monsoon blows. The trees of coral reef forest in Sheding Park grow in a tilt and become wind-cut trees because of strong winds. They all tile in the same direction toward south-west, which is a rare natural landscape. Along the trail, you will enjoy kinds of geological landscapes. After rain penetrates into the coral stones, it flows with gravity in the direction of tilted stratum and becomes a spring flowing out from the rock bottom. There are small rift valleys formed by rising corals due to dissolution or the rising tension. Some of the rifts are almost 50 meters high. Crossing with the trees around, the sky seems like a line, as in the Grand Canyon. There are some peculiar landscapes including stalagmite, columns, dissolution cavities, dissolution gaps and stalactites, which are worth watching.There are kinds of peculiar creatures in Sheding Park, including a 140-hectare persimmon forest, a large Japanese Superb Fig that needs 15 people to hold it, bioluminescent fungi which is also called as ghost fire, fireflies, spotted deers in successful restoration, Chinese Goshawk and Greyfaced Buzzard Eagles. The ecology is stunning.
