A variety of recreational activities are taking place at the Hsinchu Fishing Port located in Hsiangshan District. Some people fly kites. Some simply enjoy watching the waves and ships. At the Port， you can watch the fishing boats on the far sea by telescopes. In addition， at the Center of Direct Marketing for Fish Products at the Port， you may taste some seafood at the stalls or buy them at the shore and cook them yourself at home. This is really an inexpensive but a fun way to enjoy yourself. There is a long dike just outside the Port. On the dike， there are about 100-meter sea world paintings and a variety of fishes drawn by children. This is the best teaching material of the sea world for both children and their parents. This is also a special scene for the Hsinchu Fishing Port.
