The Danayi Valley (in Shanmei) is well-known for successful fish conservation but the fish in the river aren’t the only point of interest, it also is the home of many butterflies.With the large number of nectar and food plants in the valley many butterflies have made the valley their home. The trail is a few hundred meters from the car park and the small garden on the left is a veritable butterfly heaven.
