Xi Nan Village is located on the place where Qigu stream goes into sea. Originally the fish farms in this place were for the aquaculture industry. Since the aquaculture industry had a depression， Shi Nan Village therefore transformed to the development of recreational fishing holiday resorts. Shi Nan Village combines tilapia pools， milk fish pools and oyster huts. Besides life experiences of the fishing village， it also provides accommodation and food. The accommodation in Tongjianliao is especially much closer to the real life of fishing people in the past. In the early years， milk fish often died from the lack of oxygen in the fishing pool without the help of mechanical pumps. Therefore， fishermen would build Tongjianliao on the fishing farm to live， so that they could inject oxygen into fishing pools at any time. This has become a way for tourists to experience the life of fishing villages.
