"Jingang Temple is located at the foothills of the Nanpu community, building in the Republic of 11 years, and reconstructing after the 921 Earthquake. Miao Zen Master the first abbot of Diamond Temple, is a legend. Miao Zen Master, born in of reign of Qing Emperor Guangxu 12 years , word name was Sian Yun, number name was Wo Syu, and the common name Huan Nian. His hometown was the Beipu Township in Hsinchu County of South Po Tsuen. He was talented when he was young, and also was the expert of sculpture and architecture. For studying Buddhism, he came to China and became the student of Liang Da Master, later three years, he had researched Buddhism along, and another five years later, he had traveled around a lot of mountains and temples, then, became the master of Buddhism. In August 1965, Miao Zen Master Zuohua became the abbot of the Nanpu Jingang Temple and was respected by local people."
