"The Da Lake Village is located in the east of Beipu Township of Hsinchu Country， the former name is Ba Fan Laos， and the altitude is about 200 to 400 meters. Here has the broad vision and beautiful landscape. The Da Lake Village used to abound in camphor wood and manufacture camphor oil; however， camphor wood was replaced by planting tea trees， now here grows stone persimmon and manufactures into dried persimmons for sale. After many years organizing， there are new development of the camp， and the cherry blossom trail， Tip Nan forest trail， hero slope trail， and with conservation areas and eco-class for watching fireflies， flowers and hiking."
