Datan Village is a biggest village in Hsinkang, Lin as the greatest last name. According to legend, Chong years, a forest surnamed Yuen Foong from Nanjing County, where the Lunzai Club came to Taiwan, along the way, he respectfully wish get the protecting of the God ,national hero Yue-Fei. When he reach Datan Village, the start in their own worship, and later descendants of more and more, built temples to worship in the village, the Chiayi County, only one Yuewang Temple(Jingzhong Temple).That is the first Jingzhong Temple come to Taiwan from east, and the history is oldest in Taiwan. Today, the annual Lunar calendar February 15 Yue-Feis birthday Datan Village will hold grand ceremonies, many villagers are eager to go to the Jingzhong Temple worship Yue-Wu-Mu-Wang(Yue-Fei). Jingzhong Temple has become the religious center of the Datan Village is long lasting.
