Ou Wang Wen Heng Temple was built during the Qing dynasty in the years of Kang-Xi's reign. It is located at a strategic venue in the center of Zhuang Tou, connecting the inside and outside of town. It is a Siheyuan (a Chinese Quadrangle or four-side enclosed courtyard) for the enshrinement of the righteous and awe-inspiring Saintly Emperor Guan, and it attracts visitors and believers coming from far and wide. The Emperor Guan statue enshrined is the third ever to be relocated to Taiwan. Throughout the years, the temple was renovated for a total of 5 times to reach its scale today, which is grand and impressive.
