Shuijuetou is the Sancha Harbor inside the Daofeng Inner Sea, which was once a flourishing port that primarily exported granulated sugar and deer skin. It is said to be the origin of Madou. The old Madou St. is situated next to the Sancha Harbor inside the Daofeng Inner Sea; this is believed to be the first place of inhabitation when the first Chinese settlers moved here. After the mid-Qianlong Period in the Qing Dynasty, the watercourse silted up and the coastline shifted west. Currently, only part of the harbor remains.
