Shuilian Bridge Trail

Phone:886-3-5800689 Address:Hsinchu County Emei Township Near the Hsinchu County Emei Township No.60-8
You can reach Shulian Cave (Fanyin Temple) by turning right after leaving the gate of the tourist center (Hsinchu County Highway No. 41 4.55K), which is a natural arched cave. It is the northernmost, lowest (altitude 150 meters), largest and most eye-catching temple cave among all the temples at Lion’s Head Mountain. If you turn right after going back the original path, you can walk across a trestle bridge and trail that stretches across the Shizi River. There is also a bridge made with glutinous rice completed in 1918 during the Japanese Colonial Era that has abundant nostalgic atmosphere. Here you can overlook the great scenery of sky-and-valley-on-the-same line created due to river erosion. Greens and shelters are filled along the trail and it takes about 1350 meters to complete the trail.  Trail Name Trail Length (M) Traveling Time Things to Pay Attention to Along the Way Traveling Reminder Shuilian Bridge Trail 500(1350) 30(60) Shuilian Bridge, bridge made with glutinous rice Due to slippery trail, please be cautious when walking.
