Arriving in Laiji flowers can be seen growing along the roadside.These were planted by the local people to attract butterflies and also attract the gaze of visitors. The area around the first pavilion on the right is a paradise for butterflies. The pavilion has seen better days but the plants around it are thriving. Many of the plants are nectar plants that provide food for butterflies.
