Lai Ji Village in Alishan Township is also called “Wild Boar Tribe” and is one of few Zhou tribes. It is said that a Zhou hunter chased a wild boar and accidently found the fertile place. He settled down and Lai Ji Village was gradually developed. The villagers establish wild boar works in thousands of areas in the community in memory of the legend. Therefore, tourists can find boar works everywhere and Wild Boar Stone Carving is the most popular.
