Huang Pien (style name Liangpu, pseudonym Tungchiao) was the father of Huang Wei, the "Man of Perfect Virtue". When Huang Wei passed the imperial examinations in 1514 and was appointed the director of the Nanjing Board of Punishment, his father was posthumously awarded the same position. He was buried at the foot Shihgu Mountain on the outskirts of Yinkeng Village, Jinsha Township. The tomb altar base was carved into a butterfly shape while the base of the tomb wings was carved into the shape of lizards. The tomb arch was a stand-alone three-opening style arch. The top of the two central columns featured carved lions while the side columns was carved into the shape of a writing brush.Compared to the larger Ming Dynasty tombs on the island, the most distinctive features about the tombs of Chen Jhen and his father are the presence of the tomb pavilion, the tall and narrow headstones and lack or ornamentation.
